I got a voucher deal for £27, that included cut, blowdry, and a 'Loreal Treatment'.
Firstly- THE SALON
Convenient location, nice interior with lots of chandeliers and big decorative mirrors. When I went in on a Saturday afternoon though it was pretty dead, with me being the only customer for much of the time, and only one other customer the rest of the time. This meant there was no atmosphere what-so-ever, and the fact that all the staff were chatting away to each other in Spanish didn't help. No drinks were offered at all, which is the first salon I have ever been to that doesn't.
The haircut was okay- not the best, not the worst, though certainly I wouldn't have paid more than £35 for it full price (I have been to £20 salons as well as £80 salons before). I wanted a creative cut, and I guess this just isn't the place for that- the cut I got was okay, but it took a lot of consulting to get there, and it was still essentially a shorter version of what I already had.
The most irritating part, was that there was absolutely NO TREATMENT as stated in the voucher- I don't even think they used hair conditioner! and they certainly didn't use any products on my hair (except for some generic hairspray). Also extremely irritating was the poor finish- the hairdresser basically blasted my hair, cut a few more bits, then left it in a state that I wouldn't have even left the house in!
So with the lack of treatment, and blowdry, I am suddenly paying £27 essentially for a cut and cut only, which really isn't such great value for money.
Overall, I wouldn't go here again- I feel like the voucher was deceptive, and the company just wants to get people through the door, with seemingly little interest in getting them to return.
