The Chelsea Day Spa Boutique at Hollywood Road

I visited this spa today and was very disappointed. It started well with a glass of water. Went to use the loo and the floor and towel was very wet. The therapist came out and explained that the last client was taking a little longer to get ready - as she left I was brought into the room and towels clearly been used. The therapist rolled them up and put them back on the bed for me to use. I was stunned. To be honest I have not had the energy to argue this today as my dad is very ill in hospital and I just came to chill out. The towels were used on me and I just could not relax wondering how dirty they were!!. The massage was rubbish - it was haphazard. There was no structure to it at all - it did not feel like it was being done by a trained therapist at all. The therapist did not ask any questions at all about whether I had any areas I wanted massaged, what pressure, skin type etc (I did fill out a medical questionnaire though). Facial was slightly better - washed by face three times in the process and never dried it before going on to the next bit. The facial massage was better though. All in all....pretty awful
