Unfortunately our stay with this package was awful from start to finish. Even when trying to make phone calls to the venue prior to our arrival the level of service was poor. With the exception of 2 members of reception staff all other staff members were indifferent, nonchalant and at times rude. The spa really shouldn't be called as such. The facilities are separate from the hotel at a leisure centre so expect to be sharing your spa experience with families and leisure centre members. The steam room was not working and they had also run out of towels. The restaurant and spa do not allocate timeslots for those that have booked this package so if you don't book ahead you may not get a table for dinner or your complimentary massage. Our breakfast was 40 minutes late arriving and then they didn't even bring the correct food for my friend. Our weekend was finished off by nearly missing the train home because the restaurant "wasn't ready yet" for the lunchtime sitting. We were seated almost half an hour after our reservation and the staff made absolutely no effort to help us. All in all, we were wholeheartedly disappointed with our stay and felt somewhat cheated out of the money we had spent. The one saving grace is that the food in the restaurant was excellent.
