So SPA at Sofitel London St James
I rarely write a review but I thought this was worth sharing for those who are thinking of using this venue.
Not so long ago I bought a voucher for So Manifique as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, which did not turn out to be so magnifique at all. I relied on the stellar reviews posted here but have learned my lesson. Perhaps I expected too much out of a five-star review on Wahanda.
Based on what was communicated to me, it appears the receptionists are clueless as to what treatment clients are signed up for. Not only that, they are constantly talking amongst themselves without paying attention to the needs of clients. The attitude issue is probably not so unique to this venue but it is clear that they are not trained in customer service.
There also appears to be no communication between the therapists and the receptionists, leading to confusion and a sense of abandonment for clients who are just left alone to figure out what they are supposed to be doing next. There is no clear explanation as to the overall experience to be expected at the outset or throughout the day.
I hesitate to say that I will never use this venue again but I will not recommend to any of my friends.
