The staff at the reception were not informed about my booking (it was not coming up in their system) and we were "lucky" to get a room as they had some spare. I had paid in advance but the staff was not aware of this and asked me to pay again. I did show the confirmation email that says that I had paid but they said that there are no known direct financial relationship with Lastminute.com. After trying to get on the line with the lastminute.com and showing my bank statement online they agreed to accept this. This is in no way the staff's fault as they were really nice, helpful, apologetic and genuinely bothered about this. This just shows that there is some miscommunication at the administrative/system level which trickles down and can spoil the experience as arriving at spa and trying to prove you have a room and have paid for it is far from relaxing.
You also really do need to book the spa treatment well in advance. I tried to do this on the morning and this was not possible.
