The Bannatyne Spa Manchester (Chepstow St)
Visited Aug 2013
Booked in as a Group & lunch was included.....I say lunch; it was a platter of sandwiches (the type you pre-order from the supermarket) & of which we averaged 3 triangles each and a platter of cakes which we averaged 2 each (these were the size of a 10 p coin). Not the sort of lunch you would expect when you've paid £60 for lunch and a treatment.
You pay an extra £3 to use a robe (very tatty); towel (big enough to dry a child); & slippers (be careful when walking round the pool area as they become slippy).
Pool is a reasonable size for the city centre; sauna is ok as is the Spa Jacuzzi. Changing rooms mediocre and are communal. Treatments were the best part.
No relaxation rooms; so nowhere to chill out. To me this is an essential part of a Spa.
I found the experience very over-priced for what you receive and its quality. There is much better in Manchester.
