LivingWell Premier Health Club at Hilton Sheffield

Not the best experience but this is an honest review...
Parking is a little bit awkward but we went on a Sunday so it was really busy, obviously this doesn't affect the treatment but just make sure you get there a bit earlier.
We went through the hotel to the Livingwell Health Club to the reception area where we were looked at by the two unfriendly receptionists (I can't say we were greeted by them because they just looked at us until we spoke), I told them that we had treatments booked (there were 3 of us) and we had vouchers which I gave them. We were then asked to sit and fill 2 forms in each, 1 was only relevant if you were a member and the other relating to your skin/allergies etc. had been photocopied so many times we could barely read them.
The 2 therapists came to greet us and they were both lovely and welcoming (especially Amy), two of us were having the facial at the same time and then an hour after I was having mine. My mum and sister went in for their facial and I sat in the waiting area. The waiting area is comfortable and you can see the swimming pool below but I think there was a children's lessons taking place so it was very noisy with children running around so not really the relaxing environment I was expecting.
I was offered a cup of tea that never materialised so after about half an hour I went to find some water, they don't have a water cooler just a vending machine and that didn't have any water in it either because they had run out. I ended up buying an energy drink and sitting back in the waiting area. One of the receptionists then looked over at me and asked if I was waiting for a treatment and did I want a drink?!!
The treatment was lovely and the treatment room was really comfortable and relaxing but my sister (who had her facial with Amy) said she spent time asking about her skin and gave her a different kind of facial to the one myself and my mum received. The therapist myself and my mum had didn't ask anything about our skin or read the forms we had spent 10 minutes filling in. There was supposed to be a choice of 5 facials to suit your skin type but we were never asked which one we wanted, the therapist just started the facial without telling us what she was going to do and she didn't speak throughout the treatment.
Overall I enjoyed the facial and the products felt and smelt gorgeous. I thought it was good value for money at £20 but I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price. When I spoke to my sister about her facial (with Amy) it sounded much better, I understand every therapist is different but when comparing ours there was a vast difference.
It wasn't all bad but I suppose I had higher expectations of a Livingwell Health Club and there is definitely room for improvement.
