Sienna Spa at Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester Hotel
Visited May 2013
One thing to remember - service at Sienna Spa is incredibly poor. I booked my facial appointment 2 days in advance - and was quite surprised they could fit me in at such a short notice. When booking on the phone, I specified that I would ideally like to have an appointment at 10am but definitely no later than 11am as I had my train tickets booked for 12.15pm. I've been told that an appointment at 10.30am is available.
I did not receive any confirmation of time or any reminder of the appointment. However, when I showed up at 10.30 on the day, a lady in the reception told me my appointment is at 11.15am. I repeated that I am not able to change the appointment time. So I've been asked to sit down for a bit while they sort it out for me.
After a bit, another lady came over with a form to fill. Which I did. Wasting more time. When I brought the form back to the reception, I've been told again that my treatment is at 11.15am. Ladies at the reception said this is the time I've been originally booked for and did not care about the fact that I've been told the wrong time on the phone. I've been offered to move my treatment to another day - and that's the end of the story.
It's a place that disrespects its customers and does not care for their needs. I'm definitely never coming back. But if you have a 45 minutes to spare before your treatment - go ahead (bring your own magazines, by the way, because otherwise you'll just have to sit there and stare at the wall.
