I wanted to book for the day after purchase, so I checked with the venue before making purchase to ensure they had availability. They could accomodate us, but I was told that to make bookings using Wahanda vouchers, I would have to ring the central booking line. I made our purchases via Wahanda, then called to book in. Was on hold in a queue with 9 people ahead of me, then was given the option to get a call back, so I took that option. I was called back around 30 minutes later, and was able to make bookings for the next day.
Upon arrival at Bannatynes, we filled in health forms, then were taken through to the changing areas by a member of the spa staff, and also shown where the spa area was. We spent some times in the pool , sauna and steam rooms before heading to the spa area for our treatments. We were offered the option of separate treatment rooms or the dual room, and we opted for the latter. The therapists were professional, and the back and scalp massages were very relaxing. We were offered tea and coffee after our treatments before leaving.
My only criticism would be that the spa area is located upstairs, away from the pool changing areas, meaning that if you choose to make use of the pool facilities, you have to wander around the corridor and stairs in your dressing gown.
