I went for a half head highlights- my hair is black and I have never had highlights in my hair before. So I wanted to go for something bold, with red and brown highlights. I told my hairdresser this and she advised me to only stick to one colour even though I wanted a few shades. Then she showed me the colour chart and I picked a nice reddish brown but she said it would be too bold and chose for me a v dark brown colour with slight red hint. I was unsure about this but after much debate, I stuck with what she advised because she was very persistent and I thought I should trust her decision. Biggest mistake of my life. The highlights are non-existent, its like I've spent £50 on nothing. I call up afterwards as I had to rush off to something afterwards- I tell them I'm not happy with my hair and it looks like nothing has been done to it. The man on the phone tells me to come in the next day and speak to my hairdresser about it and something will be sorted out. So I go there, and my hairdresser acts as if I chose this hair colour when I didn't- she chose it for me and to be honest, even that colour hasnt shown up in my hair. She then agrees to add '3-4 strands of highlights on the top of my head' the next day. So I go the next day and waste my time and travel money just to be told that the boss has refused to do that for free, and that it would cost £50 just for a 4-5 highlights on the top, even though I should already have those highlights on my head already! And then the hairdresser lied saying she tried to ring me but I must have given the wrong number- when I did not. I'm really surprised by all the other positive reviews so far, because this the worst hairdresser experience I have ever had.
