I have a love-hate relationship with this place. When I first discovered it, I thought it was a jewel (I loved the little swimming pool and sauna, the never crowded gym, etc.), but over time there have been a little too many incidents that make me feel disappointed.
Verdict: do check it out but:
1. Do NOT have a manicure or pedicure there. There is only once specialist and the poor girl works terribly slowly in the dark (fact) light. I had a shellac there before going on holiday and it lasted three (I am not joking!) days because she applied it way to heavily (my nails looked like they were fake!) and left way too much space between the gel and cuticle.
2. They may be storing your card details! I once saw a girl write down everything off my card (including the three digit code on the back) in a notebook before the treatment. I thought it was ridiculous, but she told me it was a common practice in the spa and it took me a while of arguing to have that page given back to me.
3. Remember the young black guy who sometimes works at the reception may happen to overcharge you and then shout at you (literally) once you have brought it up.
