I always wanted to lose weight and get fit and I did manage to do it but slowly the pounds kept coming back on and that is when the motivation started to go right out the window! Although going to the gym every now and then was good, I started to get really bored of doing the same thing over and over again and it was quite lonely (husband went to the weight section whilst I would be in the cross trainer/running machine section). Soon, all motivation had gone and the clothes were slowly but surely getting tighter :(
I saw a deal for bootcamp and had seen it pop up time and time before. Each time I dismissed it. I was full of good intentions at the time and thought about purchasing it but then I would think, "could I really do this?" I always came up with the answer no! I thought my fitness levels would be so poor that I would just embarrass myself and hold back the rest of the class. When I seen the special offer pop up again just in time for losing weight for Xmas, I bought it there and then before I could back out again. I got the emails from Riccardo about starting and that was it. There was no hiding away now!!! So went along to my first class incredibly nervous. Had arrived a little late and had to go right down the front of the class - aarrghhh! HOWEVER, even after that first class, I felt a new me. I felt like I had gained a little control over me and never ever did I think that seven months down the line I would still be signed up to FBBC and going to classes near enough every day. I definitely get my money's worth whilst my gym membership is still running though I haven't been in a long, long time.
Classes are 30 mins long and you work your backside off!! You go at your own pace and the trainers are always available to help you with adjusting exercises to adapt to your capability. They will push you but its absolutely what you need! The classes run near enough all day Mon-Fri and there are 3 classes on a Saturday morning so it's great not having to stick to a certain time each week especially when a lot of us have busy work and family schedules!
The venue is lovely with 2 shower rooms and a unisex changing room (don't worry, there are private changing room sections for getting changed). Classes are really fun, that's right, I said fun! All the trainers bring their own type of madness to the classes and we do get a right good laugh. Fit body bootcamp has been a great place for me to get control over my fitness and body and has helped me learn about food nutrition at the same time. I have met lots of new friends from going to classes and I actually really enjoy working out now :)
Best things about FBBC? The trainers, the workouts, the variety of people that go to classes (its not all super fit and healthy people that go so your confidence is not knocked which was my biggest worry about signing up!). Honestly, go along and see for yourself or speak to Riccardo and learn more about it. You have to be ready to work hard to achieve the new you. If you are ready then I can assure you FBBC is what you have been waiting for. It has helped turn my life around and I am 100% certain it can do the same for you! Go team FBBC!!!!!
