Do not go here if you are after a relaxing spa break! It is a gym with a salon - no more than that. I don't even know how it gets away with calling itself "Thames Club SPA" when the name outside it merely says "Thames Club". False advertising at its best. A nice enough swimming pool, sauna and steam room but that is it! And these spaces are shared with the gym users - on the day I went a whole bunch of noisy kids were using the pool and changing rooms at the same time - as you can imagine, not very relaxing and it meant we couldn't use the pool. The website is full of tosh, do not believe what it says - it is not serene and there are no places to relax, which even a basic (real) spa should provide. Customer service is poor, except for the restaurant staff. Before my visit I left countless messages and emails and none were responded to. I filled in a complaints card on the day, requesting the manager to contact me - I am yet to have a response. The therapists were disinterested and not particularly friendly or sincere. Restaurant staff were lovely though, and the food was nice.
If you want to go to a gym for the day, it's a nice enough place. However, if you want a relaxing spa day, avoid this place and look elsewhere!
