We visited Woodlands Spa for my birthday and both myself and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the day. The facilities were excellent and the spa was clean and warm throughout the day. Never had any problem getting hold of a member of staff if we had any questions, they seemed very knowledgeable about the facility and were quick to resolve any queries we had. What was particularly impressive was their willingness to sort things out quickly if we did raise anything - for example, at lunch, a side dish was mistakenly brought out early as a starter, but when we mentioned it, the staff member scrapped it from our bill and was very apologetic. It's little examples of good basic customer service like that, which I've not always encountered in other places, but which they seemed to get right. Lunch was delicious too. Highlights include the serenity pool - which was so relaxing myself and a fair few other guests even managed a quick nap on the beds in there after lunch , which only ended when three blokes came in and made a lot of noise (ignoring the numerous shhh signs). The do-it-yourself mud rasul treatment left my skin feeling much clearer. We ended our day sipping prosecco in one of the outdoor hot tubs. One of the best spas I've ever visited and we definitely plan to return again.
