Harley Street Allure Clinic


I went to have my teeth whitened at the Allure clinic. Despite leaving more than enough time to get there my train was heavily delayed and so I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment. Instead of explaining that my appointment would be cut short because I was late - and offering a rescheduled appointment, the dentist went ahead with my treatment, but only completed 2 of the 3 laser sessions. She claimed that because I was late it meant I couldn't receive the full treatment.

Because of this, my teeth are only a teeny bit whiter than they were before, and still pretty yellow. A complete waste of money.

I totally understand that it was my fault I was late, but it is basic customer service to deal with the issue to make sure that I get what I have paid for. If I went for a haircut and this happened, my hairdresser wouldn't cut round two-thirds of my hair and leave the last third long because of time restraints. He or she would discuss my options and offer me a different appointment to make sure the job was completed correctly.

I could understand if Allure Clinic were particularly busy, but I managed to get an appointment within 12 hours of booking it on Wahanda, so they can't exactly be so hard pushed for time that they couldn't give me the common curtesy of offering a different appointment rather than just doing half the job.

I'd saved up for months to get this done and my money has gone down the drain. Would not recommend anyone being ripped off as I have been.

Also - when she gave me the mould to put on my teeth she did not ask if I was OK, she did not check that I was wearing it properly, she literally could not have cared any less.

Also the mould is the kind of mould that only whitens the front and front-side teeth. Not sure how she was anticipating getting my back teeth white. Well, at least since my front teeth are still yellow they will match the back ones anyway :)
