Whilst the Colourist did listen to my request without argument (which is great and unusual). I would have liked to be more involved in the colour decision. Normally when choosing colour, I have been shown a book with colour options in and have been able to discuss this with the stylist with the real ability to visualise the result. The end result of this was that, where as I wanted to be a lighter and more vibrant colour, all I got was more vibrant - light was needed for the summer. My colourist was fine overall, and the result is quite nice - it's just not really what I had pictured. At the end of the appointment it was mentioned that next time I could get 2 different coloured highlights. This is what I would have wanted on the first time round. Why was it not offered?
I am also not a fan of streaky highlights. I have never had my hair done where the parting is done from front to back - which has caused very noticeable streaks.
I would also like to say that some of the colleagues here are very loud, often I could not hear what my hairdresser was saying due to this.
Overall the price was great. And I'm sure that that is where the shortcomings lie. I cant really complain for £72, however I think this was the offer purely because of the 'off peak' time. I would not like to pay more for this result. Although I wouldn't say they were bad, I would not use the same stylist or hairdressers again.
