Alopecia has left me with no upper lashes on one eye. Can I get semi permanent eyelashes?

Hi Jules,
I would try out Uber lash to try and promote growth but in the meantime, why not try clusters which are placed on your eyelid - they create a much more natural look than strips. Also once your eyelashes have grown back and you can attach individual eyelash extensions, I would advise you to go for the thinner eyelash extensions i.e. 0.15 or at most 0.20 thickness as these will not put too much of a weight on your natural lash. I hope this helps.

Now that sounds promising =] I will start investigating clusters as I really struggle to get the strips to fit properly. Thanks so much! x

Hi,
I would not suggest having eyelash extensions unfortunately you would need lashes to attach the extensions to plus they may not addear to the lashes you do have as they maybe to weak at present.
Definately trying Rapid Lash or UberLash from http://www.lashbyfrancesca.co.uk would help.
Good Luck!

Its approx £40 in Boots but you can buy online cheaper on sites like Ebay ect.
There are lots of online reviews.

No, there needs to be natural lashes present in order to apply lash extensions. Extensions are just that----an attached extension FROM your own lashes.

Unfortunately not, the individual eyelash needs to be attached to a natural lash. Strip lashes will work though!

Thankyou =] Can strip lashes be stuck on with same adhesive, or is it unsuitable for contact on skin? Sorry, new to the whole zero eyelash look and I'm not loving it!! x

No, strip lashes should not be applied with semi- permanent glue and yes, it is unsuitable for contact with the skin.
