I actually visited the new premises in Clapham to try out Lash lab's eyelash extensions. I can't begin to describe how pleased I was.
Last time I had these done (elsewhere) the glue made my eyes sting and I was told this was completely normal. This time there was no discomfort at all, in fact I fell asleep three times (and may even have snored!). The result is the most beautiful, natural looking eyelash extensions (no mean feat on very curly, quite thick lashes that lack the length I want). I've now had them on for almost two weeks and other than shedding one or two with my natural lash as expected, thy are still looking great. I can't feel them at all, even if I screw up my eyes, and the look is not 'fake', but more like naturally fabulous eyelashes with incredible mascara.
I'm definitely addicted and will be going back for infills as soon as I need them- I'm saving so much time in the morning as i don't need eye makeup any more, not to mention mess. No more panda eyes either. Everyone should try these xx
I've now visited Anesis twice to for HD brow treatments- once in the summer as a 'Tried and Tested' for Wahanda and then again to have them shaped up for Christmas. The first time was great and ther second even better.
The fabulous therapist took the time to talk me through the whole process and really look at what shape I should be aiming for. The treatment itself consists of threading, waxing, tinting, triming and plucking, all of which I barely felt. It was much less uncomfortable than my DIY plucking efforts. After two treatments my brow shape has improved vastly, becoming fuller and more even yet still arched. It's been a month since my treatment and with the exception of a few downy strays (which whipped out painlessly with tweezers) my brows are still brilliant. I'm definitely going back at the end of the month to get them re-done for the new year and would recommend Anesis to anyone.
I visited AdoreMe Medspa to trial thei Coax treatment, an ultrasound and thermal non-invasive form of lipo. The treatment is meant to be used as part of a course but after just one treatment I could see a difference in the tone and also the amount of fat around my abdomen, waist and back.
The treatment itself was slightly uncomfortable at times ( a warm sensation) but not bad and as an alternative to traditional lipo it's miles better and has none of the side effects, downtime or pain.
The therapist was extremely knowledgable and answered all my questions, really putting me at ease. Although it isn't cheap, I'd definitely return for a full course of Coax as I'd love to see what multiple treatments would do to my stomach area.
I used the Wahanda voucher to take my mum for a 50th birthday treat and had an absolutely fantastic time.
We arrived at one and went straight through to our double treatment room for a massage. Had a great giggle trying to work out what to do with the towels. The massage was brilliant and really hit the spot. Next we had manicures which were perfect and the girls were really friendly and sweet. We were given champagne too which was lovely.
We then went upstairs for the most amazing afternoon tea, served with Bellinis in the Podium Restaurant. All in all the best present I could have given her.
I absolutely loved my trip to Pure Beauty. I visited to try out their BeauBronz spray tan and was throughly impressed.
The salon itself is beautifully presented, with gorgeous wallpaper and clean treatment rooms. My therapist was delightful- really chatty and friendly. I felt completely at ease, even though I was effectively being spray painted in my underwear.
the treatment itself was fantastic. Instead of the usual spray-and-leave tanning process I was exfoliated, then spray tanned and then a setting spray was applied to ensure I dried within minutes and left without a smudge. The tan has developed into a lovely golden 'glow' without a hint of orange and it dosn't smell at *all* like chemicals/biscuits/chicken flavoured crisps (all of which i have encountered previously).
The tan comes in three shades so you can pick your 'depth' of colour. I went for the lightest 'English rose' tone as i'm naturally pretty much see through.
Overall I am one very happy (tanned) bunny and will be returning for the same treatment again before a big event I have coming up in August.
I had a fab cut at Rush Wimbledon with Joanna.
The products used (Kerastese) smelt amazing, the receptionist and staff were friendly and I got an appointment within 45mins of calling.
Joanna took the time to listen to what I wanted and make sure I was happy. She tailored the cut tro suit my features and awkward hair and before I knew it I had a new look. I usually leave salons in tears so this was novel!
The best part was finding out that your first service at Rush Wimbledon is 50% off, so I paid just £20 for a £40 hair cut and blow dry.
Fantastic salon, I'll definitely go back for my next trim.
