The lady who did my hair was so lovely and welcoming. The best blow dry i've ever had! Such a hidden gem, will definitely be returning.

I was a little disappointed as I did not feel very welcomed when I arrived. My hair was not cut how I asked my layers were too short.

Good blow dry, with a free conditioning treatment. The salon is well located and convenient for central London.

I have finally found my regular hair salon in London! Serpil did a great job on my haircut that for the first time received compliments for it! She did such lovely job on my blow dry that I had wished I was going out to a party that night! I tried the salon with a promotion, but after my experience of receiving wonderful hair cut, blow dry and service I am more than happy to pay the regular price! Would highly recommend this hidden gem!

I'm rather hard to please when it comes to getting my hair cut, but I was really pleased with the cut I got here, and three months on it was still looking in really good shape, which is impressive for short hair. The salon certainly is easy to miss, and isn't the classiest of places, but the quality of the haircut more than made up for that.

Hidden gem for fast fix and beautiful blow dry. I came across Turquoise via Wahanda as I was looking for a fair priced wash and blow dry and I was not disappointed.

Do not be put off by the location!!

While there is no fancy glass fronted entrance, the location just minutes from Goodge street, Oxford Street/West End, is brilliant. The owner is very friendly, fast and extremely friendly. I felt at ease within minutes and enjoyed the experience.

I have long, thick hair and I was seen in 30 minutes, including wash and blow dry. The blow dry was done to perfection, I received lots of compliments.

Overall I would rate Turquoise 5/5 for quick fix cuts, styles and blow drys, very reasonably priced and centrally located.

Nice address, although the entrrance isn't the easiest to find. Would gain to be slightly more tidy. Charming and chatty owner. Globally satisfied

The salon was hard to find. The hairdresser was friendly, however splashed me whilst washing my hair and cut my hair much shorter than what we had agreed. It wasn't an awful experience however to say that the treatment should have cost £70 was ridiculous.

Doesn't seem much from outside but lovely once you get inside the salon. The hairdresser owner was absolutely lovely and did one of the best cut and blow dries I've ever had in record time too! Definitely recommend!

Uncomfortable hair wash and got wet. Not so good place, entrance not so clean. The hairdresser was the receptionist. Good blow dry.

Without a doubt the best haircut I've ever had, and it was done so efficiently. The lady before me was also thrilled with her cut. At £70.00 full price this is more than I would usually pay, hence I had a Groupon voucher. However, if you can afford it it is well worth the money, and a very friendly hairdresser. Thank you Turquoise!

I had prepared myself for a little, hard-to-find place judging by the other reviews, but there was barely a sign on the door. The place itself was a little dingy - I had my hair washed in a room with a temporary wall and unfinished wallpaper. Not the end of the world, but a little disingenuous to suggest the full price of a haircut is £70 when this place is far from luxurious.

I got my hair trimmed and a fringe cut in. While the body of my hair was fine, the fringe was a disaster. I didn't realise until the next day, after the blow dry had worn off, that the fringe was completely uneven, with layers cut into it so that I had a short layer over the top of the fringe. She chopped horizontally, straight across, instead of cutting into it vertically, resulting in a harsh, blunt cut - not what I asked for at all.

I'm glad I read the other reviews about how to find the place as I would have walked past the entrance, which leads you up to an apartment building.
The venue was fine, nothing fancy.
I sat down and read 2 year old magazines and then had my hair washed (the hairdresser used plastic gloves which I have never experienced before).
I went in for a simple straight trim and then the hairdresser blow dried my hair.
I don't think it was really age appropriate for me as it was huge and bouffant and raised some laughs from colleagues when I got back to the office.
For the price I can't complain though.
