Chief instructor- Sifu Antony Child is a 5th degree blackbelt. He started boxing at the age of 5 and continued until the age of 13. During this period Mr Child competed in 32 boxing matches. When the Kung-fu craze hit Britain in 1972 , Mr Child switched his focus to Martial Arts and became interested by the philosophical side. He studied from ages 13 to 18, often training 6 days a week , over 12 hours per week of intensive Martial Arts training. The style of Kung-Fu that Mr Child studied was Elephant Style Kung-Fu. Through his determination and dedication he became one of the youngest ever to be awarded 1st degree black belt in weapons and forms. Mr Child eventually achieved his 5th degree black belt in 1999 and took charge of the Fei Lung Kwan international Society.

Mr Child left the Fei Lung Kwan to focus on further developing his Martial Arts knowledge, travelling to seek out the best in the world in his quest for personal development. He has now integrated life skills into his classes as well as the Martial Arts disciplines.

Mr Child continues to train at the highest level with Guru Bob Breen and David Onuma in JKD/Kali (Jeet Kune Do) , an art developed by the late Bruce Lee. This training is based on Kick Boxing and Filipino Boxing also known as Dirty Boxing, plus weapons training in stick, knife, spear and blades. JKD is a combined fighting system. Mr Child has extensively trained with Eric Paulson- world shooto champion and trainer of UFC fighters Brock Lesnar and Sean Sherk. Also Danny Guba, Grand Master of Guba Doce Pares.

Sifu Child continues to train under Thai Boxing legend Richard Jacques, a self defence specialist, redman instructor, SDF instructor and a Muay Thai Red band instructor and closely with Ricky Porter, Swindon's own pro-boxing legend, ex-welterweight champion and top pro trainer.
