Thula Yoga teaches two styles of yoga, both highly recommended and incredibly beneficial on physical and energetic levels.
Consisting of Tantra, Kundalini, Hatha and Laya yoga, this integral system is based on ancient teachings from India and Tibet. Attention is placed on asanas and their relation to the chakras allowing unblocking, purifying and balancing of these energy centres. By practising this holistic style of yoga you will experience an increase in vitality, self confidence, inner balance and expansion of energy. Other benefits also include purification of all energy channels increased mental insight, heightened creativity and deep internal calmness.
You can expect to practice up to 20 different asanas, bandhas, music meditation and pranayama.
A traditional and easy to learn system based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Visnudevananda. The teachings of yoga philosophy is summarised into 5 basic points :
1) Proper exercise (asanas) 2) Proper breathing (pranayama) 3) Proper relaxation 4) Proper diet 5) Positive thinking (vedanta) and Meditation (dyana)
In this class you can expect to practice 12 basic asanas, surya namaskara and pranayama. Relaxing, refreshing and at the same time invigorating - you will strengthen and stretch key areas in your body and leave with peace of mind and a glowing smile on your face.
