I had a massage a few weeks ago as I was feeling stressed I booked an aromatherapy massage. The therapist was cooking her dinner, which smelt so strongly that I genuinely couldn't smell the oils. It was actually overwhelmingly strong. I assume because it was a small space? Either way not what you want when you go for a massage. Someone started hoovering upstairs and that continued for about half the massage, not relaxing whatsoever. It was also FREEZING cold, the therapist must have noticed my goosebumps but did nothing. It's like there was no heating on. When asked how the pressure was, I replied that I'd like it a bit stronger, on the form I'd written light/medium as I'd had some experiences with heavy handed therapists. Her reply was "well I did ask on the paper and you put medium/light" totally defensive and unnecessary? I was made to feel uncomfortable even saying that. The massage itself wasn't great, she did one of my hands and not the other, and half of one of my feet. I didn't feel like I'd even had a massage by the end. All I could smell was overwhelming spices from food. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Would give zero if I could.
