Beautiful room, beautiful grounds, great staff. The only negative is that breakfast was served between 6:30-10, we arrived at 9:55 and the staff were clearing away. They did make us welcome and accommodate us but the cooked breakfast was stone cold and not enjoyable.

Overall, we enjoyed the experience, at the Sopwell House spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The treatments were nice but we would have preferred one 50 minute treatment, instead of two 25 minute treatments - this might be an option, but it wasn't mentioned. Unfortunately, there weren't enough loungers available, beside the pool, for the number of people using the spa which meant we couldn't properly relax in between using the facilities. The afternoon tea with champagne was delicious, and the best way to end to our visit, and would definitely visit again.

great time, it would have been helpful to have information about the facilities in the hotel, times etc, and the surrounding area, but apart from that, the food was lovely, great hotel, thought some of the staff could have been more helpful.

Hard to fault this - we went for a one night spa break and left feeling marvellous. Staff were helpful and genuine, treatments fantastic, food good. We loved the beds, lovely down pillows and crisp white cotton duvet covers. Would definitely go again.

Great experience and was given a complimentary upgrade on our room to a fantastic suite. Only minor issue was the day staff in the conservatory bar area were a little slow with our drinks. Overall the staff and waiter service in the evening were excellent. Would definitely go again.

My daughter and I went for a one night stay and were really happy with the experience. It was very good value for money. The food at the evening meal was OK to good, but the buffets for breakfast and lunch were excellent - there was soi much choice and we could have eaten it all. Our room was lovely. We both had full body massages which were great, nice and firm. We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the pool and sauna (the steam room was a bit too hot for us!) and even sitting in the little suntrap garden outside the pool in April! We would definitely go again.

The only negative comment that I could make was that we were never informed on our treatment properly, which meant us calling up and booking it quite late and also losing 10mins of our treatment time. However, the receptionist was so helpful and the manager gave us a late checkout to compensate. Apart from that everything else was lovely, the staff, the venue and grounds, and especially the food! Sopwell house is a great place to stay, and good value for money too.
