Lovely old Manor House with great atmosphere but needs more amenities to be called a 'Spa'.

Great Birthday present for my girlfriend, despite only spending one night we have a partial sea view from the room which was also east facing so was amazing to see the sun rise in the morning from the balcony window. The evening dinner was good but has a steak which was quite grizzly. My girlfriend enjoyed the breakfast on her birthday. The best treatment we had was the Hot stone deep back massage which I would highly recommend. Would do that for the full hour next time! The swimming pool was a little small but was quite so we could relax in there. Very friendly all around and the lounge area was very inviting with familys everywhere and dogs in front of the open fire. Fan Staci sports facilities in the hall with almost any sport you can think off there, down stair 2 skittle alleys we made use of and was very fun. Such a great location on the south west coast path just east of Abbotsbury so when we had a stoll along it we saw lots if swans in the fleet which was special! Overall highly recommend to anyone! Will be spending more than just one night next time.

The Spa at Moonfleet Manor Hotel
Moonfleet Manor Hotel

Whether you want some time for yourself or to have time splashing about in the water, take time to visit our relaxing Treatment Rooms or Pool and Sauna.

Please note that there is a short walk between the treatments rooms and the swimming pool.

There’s something for everyone be it, pampering grown ups or swimming lessons for the little ones or just some splash time fun for the entire family.

Moonfleet is a great big, friendly Georgian manor house, built a couple of hundred years ago for Maximilian Mohune (the Mohunes of Fleet became Moonfleet).

Sitting just behind Chesil Beach, with the Fleet Lagoon in between, this is a spectacular and magical location. The sense of light and tranquility is truly special.

Steeped in smuggling history, the House formed the backdrop for John Mead Falkner’s swashbuckling novel of the same name, where the book's hero, John Trenchard, discovered Blackbeard’s diamond and escaped the clutches of those nasty revenue men! Indeed, many of the Hotel’s 36 bedrooms carry the names of characters from the book. How many can you find?
