Second time I visited the spa and this time I found it less relaxing for several reasons.
There was an in and out of staff creating a lot of noise at one particular time.
The hydrotherapy pool temperature was very cold. I could compare as I visited before. It says the pool is heated to 32 degrees but the the water was cold.
I asked one member of staff who said she believed it was normal but she would contact maintenance. The water was a bit colder after that. Not relaxing at all.
Totally downhill. 32 degree hydrotherapy pool was freezing. No staff, over half an hour late with our treatments and no robes or slippers or any friendly staff or helpful ones or any manager. Been here several times and they should shut it down its that bad now. I always loved it here.
I stayed at the hotel in 2018 and remembered the spa facilities being one of the best in the area. However, my recent experience at Spa Verta was a massive disappointment. Half the gym was closed as maintenance work was taking place ,there were x2 small fans in the gym which I assumed were placed to regulate ‘cool air’ as the air conditioning was not working. The steam room was ‘out of order’ only one of the Jacuzzis were functional. This was Not the spa experience I anticipated.
Facilities were great, staff were friendly enough, however the steam room wasn’t in working order which was not communicated at the time of booking nor when we arrived on the day.
If it had been we may have delayed our visit as it was specifically booked for the steam, so this was disappointing.
Otherwise good venue, not so great communication.
