Stayed at hotel overnight and used spa on Sunday. It was lovely and we got a later check out from our room.
A little disappointed in the end. The staff on arrival were lovely and welcoming, and the treatments were fantastic. However on entry to the pool area there was a keep fit class going on in the pool (loud music wasn’t something we were expecting on our spa day 🙁), which lasted an hour and therefore a quarter of our allocated time there. Not entirely relaxing! On discussion with the small restaurant in the spa area we were told we could have our included prosecco alongside lunch after our spa time. When we finished, lunch was only being served in the main hotel entrance restaurant. We arrived and ordered our proseccos and lunch, but when the food arrived we were told we could not have our prosecco in there, but only back in the spa area of the hotel. Baffling! We felt very frustrated by this as it was something we were looking forward to and didn’t really want to head back to the spa area after our lunch just for the drinks as we were hoping to have it alongside our lunch. Such a bad and petty management decision which left two people feeling disappointed. Even the waitresses looked mortified to tell us. A quick way to undo relaxation of the lovely treatments and pool area we enjoyed when in there. Sadly unlikely to recommend the spa to friends and family.
A wonderful relaxing afternoon spent at the spa, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Facilities great and we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Spent the day at the Spa with my Daughter, we enjoyed everything. The only thing that was a disappointment was that the day went by so quickly. Our plan to remedy this is to return and repeat the great experience the Spa gave us.
