It was great value and I would highly recommend this venue. Staff friendly, rooms great and the food was excellant in the Restaurant and The Normanton Inn. The Spa facilities and treatments were really good. If I had one small criticism it would be that there were nowhere near enough longers/chairs around the pool area, but this would not put me off going again. There were 6 of us in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a fantastic time at Clumber Park. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Really enjoyed the spa and the treatments were fantastic. Had a lovely night's sleep and breakfast the next morning was great. The only disappointment was eating at the normanton inn - the food was average but overpriced i thought. It would have been nice if the courtyard restaurant was open on a Sunday. But this is only a small downside as everything else was great!
This is my second visit to this spa and I love it! All of the staff are really friendly, the food it good and the spa although small is really nice. I wouldnt hesitate to go back.
A fairly small spa which is ideal for a relaxing day. Jacuzzi in pool could have been bit cleaner, but overall the place was spotless. All staff very friendly and efficient, especialy my therapist, Danny. Lunch menu very limited but nice.
I visited the New Lef Spa with my family to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. We arrived about 1pm and had lunch in The Normanton Inn. The rooms were ready promptly at 2pm and were very adequate including robes and slippers, tea & coffee making facilities, water and biscuits, TV with DVD player. We had a wonderful time in the spa until it was time for our complimentary facial. We had a very nice meal in the evening and watched a "girly" DVD in our room before retiring. Breakfast was in the conservatory area and was very substantial. Wished we had got up for an early morning swim before breakfast and taken some walking gear to have a nice walk in Clumber Park before our return journey. Use of the Spa was also an option after breakfast. Don't forget to let the hotel know if you have anyh special dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble to staff during our visit. I would thoroughly recommend this break and will be doing it again very soon!
