lovely experience and staff, although we booked lunch for 12pm (pre ordered at 11am) and ti didnt arrive until 12.40 which was a little disappointing as we had treatments booked for 1pm. Also the beef burgers were rather over done. Overall the spa facilities and treatments were great.

The hotel was nice and friendly but cannot say much about the treatment. I found the whole experience rushed and would not pay to go back. There was no thought in the massage, the back of my neck and bottom of my back never got a look in. The facial was just slapped on and the setting mask was peeled off by there fingers. I am so disappointed with the money I spent I think my youngest daughter could of done a better job. Moving on to the pool it was freezing and the toilets stunk of stale wee, the Jacuzzi was full of troth which never looked appealing and put me right off. The tea and coffee was a pound at the pool side one couple had free tea and coffee due to them having no change and lucky me had my charged to my room. overall the hotel was nice expensive but nice for a break, the treatment side was a total waste of money from my point of view. Would I go back yes but not for the treatments.

Spa day was good on the whole. More choice on the lunch menu would have been better. Little noisey around the pool and relaxation area . Asked several times for price list for other beauty treatments but never got one.

Came to the Derbyshire Hotel for a spa day. As a gift to myself as part of my birthday festivities. Enjoyed the whole experience and the massage and facial was amazing and the lady was very friendly. Thinking of coming back again with my mum or my partner.

Very poor overall apart the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel generally but particularly in the spa, treatment rooms were very cold with nothing only mobile radiators dotted around. The refreshments were shocking! Instant coffee and tea only and no snacks available other than in the bar. The whole spa is in serious need of a refurb - it feels like it is an after thought. The treatments were poor, my back massage was very basic with no massage of my neck at all which is where most people hold stress. My facial was so quick not even 20 minutes long and I was so cold I had to ask for a blanket and was brought several towels which are not warm! You need to invest in a refurb and training your staff. I could not recommend your "spa" to anyone. Very poor indeed.

I had 2 x treatments, a back/neck massage and a facial. Both were good but the facial was absolute heaven!. Overall the facilities are small (pool small) - but, great value for money and worth it for the treatments. We also had lunch there as well and it was 20% off and it was very nice. We (4 of us) felt quite indulged for a few hours.

The poolside area was quite cold. The pool temperature could have been higher too. Wasn't really a relaxing experience. Staff were very pleasant.

We had the cream tea which was really good but the scones were stale, the receptionist at the spa was a little bit rude, not listening after she asked a question but overall nice relaxing day, great treatments

Great day at the spa, had two lovely treatments and a good lunch.
Staff were friendly and facilities were clean. Only negative- steak was a bit overcooked at lunch.

I did actually put a review on Trip Advisor. The changing rooms were ok,lunch was good, but the best bit was the back massage and the facial done by Corina. Would recommend her to all.
