Had a lovely experience here with my friends for my 40th Birthday celebrations. Staff were friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The Spa is small but had everything you needed and the cream tea and cocktails we had in the Spa were lovely. Great amenities,great food and great value for money. We will definitely be returning.
We had a lovely relaxed break. My only criticism would be the carvery meal which had been sat there too long, beef was tough and Yorkshire puddings hard!
Eucalyptus steam room was not on when we arrived. Steam was turned on about 30 mins after arrival but no eucalyptus which was a bit disappointing.
Great value for money great staff and great food, thought spa would be bigger but was still good.
My friend and I stayed for an overnight Spa break. the Spa was lovely. The 30 minute massage was great - but not long enough! - It would have been nice to have the option to pay to upgrade this to an hour. The Spa facilities were great and we never had to queue to use any of the facilities. We used the steam room, sauna, outdoor hot tub and snooze lounge. My only criticism is that the bedroom we were placed in was opposite a wedding reception that was on so we had to put up with music until it ended at 1pm, so unfortunately I didn't get a great night's sleep - which is a real shame given that we'd had a lovely time in the spa. Maybe the hotel could take this on board when allocating rooms to place spa break customers in the future if there is a big function on.
