When we arrived they had allocated a twin room for myself and my husband. When I said there must be some sort of mistake - they blamed it on treatwell, as you can't specify on the app. I had to threaten to speak to the manager to get them to sort it out - in the end we couldn't have a double room, we had a room which consisted of two single beds stuck together...which as I'm sure you aware is always rubbish as you tend to sink in the middle. As they had to move us to another part of the hotel, the corridor hadn't been properly cleaned and there was room service trays and bottles of beer just sitting on the floor outside our room until later in the evening. Classy!
Dinner was nice.
Lunch was a small buffet, which I guess for the money was perhaps to be expected. My dish was lukewarm. Seriously underwhelmed.
The only positive of the trip was the hotel grounds (lovely for a walk) and the spa treatments. Having said that the spa itself had used plasters and dirty towels left around the place...
Needless to say, we won't be returning.
