The first time I had this treatment I was told how great the machine was and all the benefits. This time that machine had broken a few days previously and I was quite disappointed that I hadn't been told in advance as I may have rescheduled my appointment. I did see some results from this treatment though and have booked to return again!

Thorough job, done quickly, and effectively. Hot wax previously used on bikini line, not used. Was told that cost more, but if I wanted to pay extra I was welcome to get it. Have subsequently rechecked and the salon advertises using hot wax on 'specialised areas' on treatwell website..... Still a good treatment, just be aware may not be what you're expecting. Didn't have any money with me as I'd prepaid, so stuck with wax strips, but definitely was under impression that the newer, nicer hot wax would be used for bikini line when booking.

Enjoyed the facial and despite some soreness and dry skin for a few days afterwards I have noticed an improvement to blemishes and acne scars on my skin.

Environment leaves a lot to be desired, and one of the staff members made me feel quite uncomfortable about not having printed off a voucher (I had not experienced this before with wahanda), however the therapist who actually carried out my treatments was friendly, welcoming, professional and really good at her job. Overall it was lovely, I left feeling incredibly relaxed and my skin felt great!

Lots of missed sections on nails, a rush job( took 20 mins) and
Despite telling me it was a premium salon, the place was very rough around the edges (eg needed a paint job and a good scrub). Won't be back as they charge £10 on top of the £28 for gel manicure only if you want the nails soaked off (as apparently their service is a premium soak off that justifies this). Overall, a high price for a very mediocre gel manicure.

Hi Rachel. We notice you have changed your review after we responded to your last one. We would like to clarify a couple of points first of all despite the experienced therapist and trainer you had carrying out your gel manicure there is no way she could have done it in 20 minutes as we allow 40 minutes for this treatment. We are confident the gel manicure was fine and are surprised you never took the opportunity to remedy any areas of concern before you left the salon however you left the salon appearing extremely happy. Re the soak off as we explained to you before the £10 charge covers 20 minutes to remove with the proper products and professional time. If you had had the gels applied with ourselves then this cost is reduced to £5 however you chose not to pay for the soak off and picked them off yourself which can of course damage the nail bed. You also indicated that this procedure only takes a few minutes and you can get it done elsewhere for nothing! We trust this explains the matter fully. Regards Team Savannah

Firstly, please do not insult me with an accusation of lying. I was in at just before 9:45 (and had to fill out a form first of course) and I was out and in my car by 10:10. If you wish, I can provide you with phone records to prove this point as I phoned my fiancé as soon as I got in the car. So it is a fact that it was a rush 20-25 minute job (which I wouldn't mind, had it been a good quality and value gel manicure).
Secondly, I never noticed the gaps in the manicure at the time but they were very obvious when I returned home. I will happily provide photos of this, as I took some. I perhaps appeared happy because I am a polite and positive person and your therapist was very nice to chat to, I raised no complaints her as a person, very pleasant and lovely.
Thirdly, whilst in email correspondence to you, I was not made aware that repeat bookings were £5 (much more reasonable for soak off). This information would have been much appreciated, had I thought your salon was worth revisiting, as I am looking for a new salon for my nails since my therapist moved abroad (after 3 years of gel manicures every two weeks with her). The thought of £38 in total for gel manicure (hands only, no extensions) with the soak off every two weeks, for me was an outrageous price to be charging for your very mediocre, short manicure so I am entirely justified in my comments and rating.
The process of soaking off nails has never, in my experience, taken 20 mins!
I notice you didn't comment on the state of the Jordanhill salon. It really did make me laugh that you called your salon 'premium'. I will happily go to run down salons if service/products are good and the price is fair but deeming yourself a luxury salon, superior to others, when you are run-down, small, in need of a paint job and in need of agood clean. Well, really that was something else in the emails.
Wouldn't a quick email to say that you'd like to discuss this further privately been a better business decision?
