When we arrived they couldn't find the booking reservation so had to wait around until they checked us into another room (offered an afternoon tea to apologise which was nice). Room however was freezing, portable heater left in room so clearly no heating. Went down to the pool and spa which seemed more like a kids play area, sauna and steam room very dated. Back to the room to find out also not hot water for 3 hours+ (on NYE!), which meant we missed our dinner reservation, no response from hotel
Sam was fantastic. She really catered to what I was looking for and was really friendly. As I’ve said before, the pool facilities let this place down but if you’re just going for a treatment, the spa facilities upstairs are lovely and tranquil!

A really poor manicure. On arrival, I was informed that there were only a small selection of colours to choose from (circa 15). They didn’t have any dark red colours so I was left with a bright red instead. The manicure was so poor. Nails not shaped properly, no cuticle cream used to push back nails and cuticles not removed properly. I had to ask the therapist to do it again. She didn’t tip any of the nails so after 2 days they have started come off. It also took 70 minutes. Really poor
