This salon apparently does NOT accept bookings through the Wahanada site despite being advertised on here and is currently closed for refurbishments.
I believed I had booked a pedicure with them for 1st May via wahanada, and was just waiting for confirmation, however when I called then today to ask if I could also book a french manicure straight afterwards I was told that:
1. They are closed for refurbishments on 1st May (in total from Easter to mid-May) and had told Wahanada this
2. In any event they had never agreed to advertise via the Wahanda site and Wahanda had 'just put their details on the site without asking'
2. They had rejected my booking via the Wahanada, although I have not been informed of this via Wahanda
I was told that the person I was speaking to was the owner of the school and that he would email me confirming all of this and would speak to Wahanda to secure me a refund, as I had already paid for this treatment via a Tesco Clubcard voucher that I now can't use again.
At this stage i'm not clear whether this is the school's fault or Wahanda's but I am very unhappy and am very concerned about the allegation made in point 2 above by the beauty school owner, and as to how I am going to receive my refund.
