Born in Slovakia, I am a fully qualified acupuncturist graduated from the London South Bank University with a bachelor degree in Chinese Medicine - Acupuncture. During my studies, I was fortunate to be mentored by Chinese acupuncture experts from the Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in London, allowing me a greater understanding of ancient Chinese medicine and its application within my own practice. I also hold a Certificate in cupping therapy and Tui Na massage from the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Institute in Prague. Typically, my patients are people who have a challenge of a high stress around their job, and they struggle with frequent headaches or migraines, sleeping disorders, tiredness, anxiety, stiffness in the shoulders /neck/back, digestive disorders etc. Also, I treat women for menstrual disorders, infertility and menopausal problems. To maximise the effect of treatment, I use acupuncture in conjunction with moxibustion, cupping and Tui Na massage. Also, I can give advice in Chinese Medicine nutrition, diet and lifestyle to support the treatment outcome. When you come to see me, I ask questions, examine you using Chinese medicine diagnostic tools to identify the underlying root of your problem, and then I talk to you, explaining how Chinese medicine understands your health problem. And, of course, how Chinese medicine can help to improve your wellbeing. I approach every person individually tailoring the treatment to the individual needs. If you book a treatment with me you will experience an attentive and compassionate ear as well as a calm atmosphere of healing and a gentle yet effective therapeutic approach.
