It took us a few minutes to get the attention of the three ladies at the Nails Inc concession at Harvey Nicks when we arrived for a pedicure; they were far too busy chatting. When we finally managed, they started preparing the seats, which were neither ready nor clean. We had to throw our coats on the floor, in a corner, as there was no hanger or chair at hand, before taking our not-that-clean seats. Our treatment, 'terrific tootsies' (£55) was meant to take 45 minutes. After 30, we had been dispatched with our disposable flip-flops and told not to put on shoes for at least two hours as they do not have drying lights; I put my shoes back on after 2:15 and two nails got smudged. The quality of the work was just about reasonable for a neighbourhood express mani-pedi sort of place but not for Harvey Nichols and not for the price. The poorest pedicure I have had in my life and, no, neither me nor my friend will be returning. A shame.
