Swedish Massage
We booked a couples massage through Treatwell at 11:30. The system had double booked us and we were contacted by Mermaid island to change it to an hour later at the same price which suited us much better. There was paid for parking nearby on the busy road. We filled in health forms which were read and further clarification was requested (some places just file them). We were led to a tranquil nicely decorated low lit room downstairs and you couldn't hear the traffic noise anymore. The massage pressure was incredibly strong (but needed to get rid of my knots) and the lady checked if I wanted the pressure increased or decreased. A variety of techniques were used (hot stones, dry massage through a towel, oil massage, hands, arms and I think at one stage the lady used her legs to straighten out my back). The best thing was the price and value for money. I was expecting much less for the price so was pleasantly surprised. I'll be back for sure.
