Nice evening out, however not really very relaxing before the treatments due to the large number of kids in the pool. Definitely bring a book. The meal was lovely and the staff very helpful and courteous

Great lunch with good service. Spa facilities were fine with a well equipped gym. Sauna steam room and pool were lovely. Massage therapist was late collecting me so treatment time cut short. Towels wet on massage couch so I asked to change them. Massage was the worst I have ever had. Disappointing treatment but the rest was good.

my partner and i picked here as its less than 1 hr drive from us, it seems like good value option. For me, this is not a luxurious spa (amenities & facilities), and the whole venue itself is quite small, nevertheless the overall experience is quite pleasant and we are not disappointed.

treatments: we both had full body massage. my partner full asleep very quick and he didn't remember anything... for me, i enjoyed it. good technique & relaxing environment.
facilities: the gym is small but has the essentials, the pool is decent size. steam room is kinda outdated, and has some rusty stains. sauna is fine, quite clean.
the light bento lunch: surprisingly good, food is fresh and tasty. portion wise, its too much for me. as we are going to pool afterward i didn't wanted to eat too much. but i saw others asked for take away box, maybe i should have done that!

Overall, we were satisfied and think its a great value deal for a relaxing day.

Overall, this was a lovely, relaxing day at a nice spa. The treatments we had (full body massages) were excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the relaxation room was lovely and the bento box lunch was far more generous than I had expected - as well as being very tasty. Absolutely would book again, as it was great value for money and I felt like a big puddle of relaxation at the end of the day.

However, a few things to note:
- We went on a Sunday and didn't realise that 10am-12pm kids are allowed in the pool. Don't get me wrong - I love kids, and this would've been fine, except there was no lifeguard or member of staff on duty to enforce pool rules e.g. not letting your small children jump into a pool that's only 4ft deep all the way along (despite signs up prohibiting jumping/diving), or not taking your small children into the sauna/steam room (again, despite signs up warning against cooking your offspring). If you truly want to relax, I recommend going to the relaxation room during this time.
- Towards the end of the day, the ladies locker room was a bit of a tip. Loads of discarded slippers strewn about the place, no toilet roll in either cubicle, and overflowing bins. Not what I would've expected considering how nice the rest of the facility was.
- If you want something a bit more substantial to read in the relaxation room, take a book or your own magazines. The available selection is 50:50 women's lifestyle magazines and baby magazines.

The Spa facilities could look a bit more like a "Spa". You feel like back at school when going up the stairs case going up to the Spa rooms.

No slippers and a rob waiting for us when we arrived for our 1 night stay at the hotel. This is a given, when you book a spa break for two at a 4 star resort. Also at check-in did not ask whether we wanted a double or twin room, and put us in a twin, and had to change the room. Also my girlfriend found a layer of dust on the bedside tables. Staff weren't friendly on arrival, and did not explain, where restaurant, spa or breakfast room and spa facilities were. At restaurant had to wait 2 hours for 3 courses, and head waiter spoke to all other guests except us. On a positive note, food was excellent and we both had a fantastic massage in the spa. Might go to the spa again but not stay overnight in the future.

Booking was very easy and I had to alter my booking - when I rang to change the details the assistant couldn't have been more friendly or helpful
The cream tea was excellent, good choice and good quality. The spa was small but pleasant, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and I had a deep tissue massage from Holly which was excellent!
