We were expecting robes and slippers on the Mother's Day offer but when we got there we were told it was only if you had treatments. I also tried to phone and left messages to call me back but didn't receive any return calls and no-one answered the phone. The spa facilities were a bit tired. We never did find the relaxation room but that was probably our fault. Instead we sat by the pool on the only 2 loungers and our now wet and soggy towels which we had to dry ourselves on as we didn't get the robe and slippers! Tea was nice though.

Our one night Spa Break didn't quite live up to expectations. The treatment was great but the spa itself could do with a revamp. The hotel is a stunning old building but our room was out in an annex outbuilding. Both evening meal was good, breakfast was poor and they didn't seem to be able to cater for allergies / intolerance particularly well (no gluten free bread at breakfast).

This was good value. Facial and tea were good but there are limited facilities and the pool area is tired and needs refurbishing. Also on a Saturday morning be aware there are several toddler swimming classes in the pool so is not quiet or relaxing.
Beauty area better with a nice rest area with drinks and magazines. Tea was good - enough for two.
