I really enjoyed my overall experience here and the massage was great. The staff were welcoming and the facilities were spot on. Would definitely recommend to friends and go again myself.
It was my first stone massage therapy. I have heard about this therapy for a while now, and I became very curious. My sister mentioned about this place couple of times, so I thought I should join her next time. And I did. It was a great and very relaxing experience which I hope will re-live soon. The therapist was very nice, she always checked with me if the pressure was not too rough, or the stones are not too hot, taking care of my overall comfort.
I found the warmth of the stones really comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely have another go with the stones sometime soon!
The venue was lovely, friendly staff from the gym who greeted us at reception. I waited for about 10 minutes until the therapist came in for the massage once undressed, so I was left feeling a little cold in the room. The ambience was calm and relaxing, my therapist was good and managed to get the knots in certain places, however my friends therapist talked the whole way through the massage and made the experience not very relaxing at all! I could hear them in the next room so it wasn't extremely peaceful.
In total the masage only lasted for 45 minutes, they did my legs and shoulders only - no arms, neck or back - and this was meant to be a full body massage.
I've had better massages for the same price, not sure i would recommend my friends here next time.
My sister and myself booked in for a spa facilities and then a massage. Well what a joke, the place looks lovely but the pool was a joke just slightly bigger then a bath, the sauna could fit no more than 2 people in and the jacuzzi was dirty. Because this was on as a deal there was quite a lot of other people using the facilities which was a very cramped situation. We got changed early and waited for our massage, again another joke. Displayed as a 25 minutes massage when only 15 minutes was actually given ,the time they take you in the room is the start time of your massage, they advise you to get undress and then disappear for the next 10 minutes, when you actually start to enjoy its all over. You think your getting a deal but not even worth the 24 pounds. The only gem in this was the lovely white guy who gave us our towels and booked us in. polite and friendly. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Very disappointing. Was not asked what type of massage I preferred, massage table had no hole for my face and therefore came away with stiffer neck than when I went in. 60 minute massage was only 40 minute long. Pool was open to all hotel guests so there were children and babies in it - not very relaxing. Expensive for what it was.
