Mark is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a mental health professional with over 20 years of experience. He specialises in psychological conditions, behaviour change and resilience. Over the past twelve years, Mark has also studied and practised remedial and therapeutic massage, Chinese medicine, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) and other body and mind systems, including meditation and martial arts. In addition to his professional practice, Mark is currently undergoing further studies in Sports Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Therapies. Career Mark has developed a strong skill set and clinical experience in the field of mental health, pain management, addiction/behaviour change through both his NHS and private work. He brings his unique body-mind skill set into manual therapy practice, in line with holistic principles of treatment and recovery. Mark’s specific interest lies in musculoskeletal conditions, wellbeing and the mind-body relationship. Personal Interests Mark enjoys being in nature and hiking. He takes joy in reading a good book and considers himself a forever student. Whenever possible, Mark loves practising chi kung, tai chi and a variety of martial arts for the cultivation of body and mind.
Veronika is an experienced sports and remedial massage therapist. She also completed a number of different courses connected to the workings of the body, including Lymphatic Drainage, Be Activated (reflex performance reset), Kinetic Chain Release and Connective tissue release (think fascia) and is a licenced gym instructor. Veronika runs regular fitness classes in West Linton and is currently studying Zen Yoga, to bring aspects of yoga into therapy and rehabilitation. Career Veronika's main professional interest is helping clients switch off the fight or flight response of the body and assist them with the restoration of balance. Her working philosophy is based on mind-body principles and how one affects the other. Optimising wellbeing, posture and developing deeper awareness and connection of the body, emotions, and mind is Veronika's passion. Personal Interests Veronika loves to sing, dance, yoga and to learn languages. She enjoys walking in the Pentland hills and adores dogs.
