Great little spa if you are not looking for anything too expensive or fancy. One steam room and one sauna which suited us fine as we are not fans of these and a nice clean pool which is on the small size but was fine for what we wanted. The Jacuzzi was nice. The massages we had were top rate and skilfully applied. I had the full body polish and back and neck massage and my daughter-in-law had the facial and back massage. The 'eat all you want' buffet was very good and the vegetarian options were nice and well cooked. A choice of both hot and cold foods and desserts with unlimited teas and coffees served in a spacious eating area. my only criticism is the lack of space poolside for loungers so there are only 4 in total so if you are not able to get one you have to sit on chairs. We were fortunate enough to get a lounger each.

Quite a nice spa but pretty basic and quite busy. It was about worthy the money but not a bargain.

I bought this as a gift and the feed back was so amazing I'm booking again for myself. I've been told I need something that include the head massage as that was incredible

Vegetarians not catered for, unorganised dinner service, was a complete shambles, my room needed a good clean

staff all lovely and very welcoming
facilities ok, pool a little on the small side and was busy with young children which was a surprise
spa area nice but also small - nowhere to sit around in robes and relax and didn't feel comfortable sitting in open area as full of corporate people having business meetings

Great venue, the pool was on the small size, but great value for money £99 for 2. A good buffet lunch and 2 treatments each. A great way to spend an afternoon.

This was a fantastic. This was by far the best spa I have been to. The massage was fabtastic. The staff were very helpful and professional. They were all very friendly. In the restaurant and spa and reception desk and beauty therapists. The pool was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and treatment.

I had booked a spa day for 2 as a treat for myself and my daughter. Our biggest disappointment was the lunch in the hotel which was included in the package. It was self service which in itself wouldn't be a problem but it was very poorly presented and a disappointing choice. It was also quite tasteless. The lunch spoilt the overall day at the spa.

All of the staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful!! My treatments were amazing and the 3 course buffet lunch was a very nice surprise!! I only rated the spa facilities a 3 star as there is a Jacuzzi pool steam room n sauna which was absolutely fine for myself and my friend but they aren't extensive and there was only 4 sun loungers, it's a shame there isn't room for more around the pool! However it was so lovely and warm!! We had the 2 for 99 experience and we will definitely be booking again!!

Great treatments for the price, we did the 2 for £99 experience. Back massage was lovely. The actual spa is a little small and is more like a leisure club than a spa, but for the money it was good! Lunch wasn't bad, a little dry and we felt a bit uneasy wondering through the hotel in our robes. But overall not a bad experience.

The spa day was not as expected. It was not value for money as I paid £70 for me and my boyfriend to visit the spa and gym and lunch was included. The word lunch is a stretch! It was not relaxing in the slightest as we had to fend for ourselves as the staff there were not on the ball. The soup was cold for starters and when I went to get some there was no bowls and when there were bowls there were no spoons. That carried on with the tea, there was no sugar or milk and just hot water and tea bags and when I kept asking the bar people they looked at me as though I was a inconvenience. Lunch was served from 12pm till 2pm and it was like the staff were not expecting us, even though we had booked the day weeks in advance. Whilst we were eating the food in the bar area we were surrounded by people in suits having business meetings which was not the best. The best bit about it is that they have a pool but I could go to my local leisure centre for that and it would of cost a lot less! I would not go back.

When we arrived we were given robes and towels by reception staff, although we enjoyed our day together there isn't much there if your wanting a full on spa day. Half way through our day someone started cleaning the pool so was unable to use and the the steam room broke and they didn't even try fixing the problem with it so that left the jacuzzi and sauna to use which when the spa is full of people this is no good we found our self on some very hard chairs at the side of the pool. Only 4 loungers by the pool which we didn't even get to use because once people are on them there's no moving them. Also children who are staying in the hotel are allowed in the pool which for me i have children my self and went to the spa for a relaxing day so if I'd have known children would be there splashing you in the pool and jacuzzi i would have just gone to the local swimming baths!! We went for lunch and literally got kicked out of the restaurant by a very rude woman because we were 10 minutes early! When we went back there was a lovely man in there who did look after you well and food was nice. Treatments i had a massage and come out with my neck and back feeling worse than before and felt it was cut short due to them running late! So all in all I won't return back here for a spa day.
