We had a lovely day, the gym facility is lovely and with lots of new equipment. Everywhere was fairly quiet which meant that you didn't have to wait for anything. The food in the Brasserie was lovely and there was lots of choice. The staff were especially helpful - we weren't told that we had to book our spa treatment in advance and so when we turned up on the day there was only one booking space available, however we needed two. The ladies kindly rearranged some things to be able to fit us both in at the same time. We both had a really enjoyable day and would definitely recommend it!

I took my mum to the hotel for her birthday present and we both enjoyed our stay very much.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and it meant a lot that we could check in early when we arrived.
The food was very good and there was plenty of choice.
The spa treatment was very enjoyable and relaxing we both really recommend it.
I would definately stay at the hotel again!!

Took my friend away for a weekend treat as we both deserved the break after working hard throughout the last few months.
We arrived a bit early and our room wasn't ready, but the receptionist was very efficient and informed us it wouldn't be too long. We were able to check-in and leave our bags at reception until it was ready and was able to wait in the bar area. The receptionist found us and we were moved rooms as our original one still wasn't ready.
The room we had was amazing, with a separate living room area to the bedroom. Included were tea/coffee making facilities even some milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine and some sweets, more than what I had expected so this was a lovely bonus.
After we had unpacked we looked around the venue, on the day we arrived the steam room was out of use to due maintainance but it was clearly signed it would be ready for use the next day. We decided to go for swim before getting ready for dinner.
Dinner was included in our package and you are given an allowance of £26 each but have to pay extra for drinks. The menu included a wide variety of meals. One thing we found was the waitress didn't know the spiciness of a meal my friend wanted as she hadn't had it before, instead of finding out she just said she was sure its not too spicy.
Breakfast the following day was the standard hotel buffet breakfast, but there is also some you could ask for on requested such as omelettes.
Our first spa treatment was perfect (head, neck & shoulder massage), and didn't seem like half an hour at all. Could have stayed there for longer. However, the second treatment we had seemed a bit rushed (file for fingers). I understand that Saturdays are a busy day in the spa but just spending those extra few minutes with a client makes all the difference.
The rest of the leisure facilities were good, we only used pool, sauna and steam room but all were clean. One note was we left our towels on the loungers to go for our second treatment and on our return someone had moved them and taken the lounger. There are no signs to say not to reserve the loungers but we were gone for only half an hour.
Lunch is included in the package and it was the same standard as dinner and breakfast. Buffet style but something for every one.
Our stay exceeded expectations as booking a discounted package could make you think you would be treated differently by staff but we were treated like any full paying guest.
We would definitely return.

Absolutely fab time. Would recommend for a chilled out break. Food was lovely too, both in the bar brasserie and restaurant.

The day was really good value for money - the buffet lunch was great and the staff were really friendly.
The massages were just what was needed and the pool the right temperature. hubby enjoyed the sauna and steam room too...think we'll take advantage of this again!

Great atmosphere. Clean room. Friendly staff. Changing rooms and spa facilities clean. Gym was a good size with various machines. Decent sized food portions which were filling. Courtyard looked very nice! Please update the breakfast list. It states Veg omelette but received one with meat. Error corrected really fast! Massage and facial was amazing! Will return!

Given that we had the £20 spa day voucher I wasn't expecting much - especially as we had also visited a nearby Q Hotels Spa which was relatively disappointing. The layout of the place was rather odd and we struggled to find the Spa easily. Staff on reception seemed a little... manic. The spa Supervisor gave me a great file and polish, and was very pleasant. We had also booked massages for later in the day.
Firstly, they had accidentally booked me in a for a full body, when I had booked just a back massage - I was not very happy. Secondly I was rather surprised that I had a male masseur - I would have liked to have been made aware of this when I booked!
The lava shell massage was, well, different - and could have been a good and therapeutic experience (it is advertised as relieving muscular problems), had the therapist actually listened when I told him which areas needed treating. But no, he didn't listen and so the areas needing treatment were left almost untouched.
He also actually hurt my upper arms - and not in a 'good' way, as in treating muscular knots and tension, but in an 'OUCH THAT DAMN WELL HURTS, STOP IT NOW!' way.
Finally, he used lots of oil and the shells on my head, so I left the spa with a very, very oily pile of hair on top of my head. Honestly, not a nice experience. £65 totally and utterly wasted.
I would definitely not visit again!

I will never revisit here again. The facilities and gym were great, however the staff in the spa area were preoccupied with other things on our, one was taking phonecalls while trying to do another clients nails re childcare arrangement (Which i understand is important but could have been managed in a more professional manner), the therapist i had giving me a back massage left me so tense as she was so rough, even asking her to not be so hard, that i left before my time. My friend enjoyed her facial but i wouldnt personally return. Lunch facilities were also not great as we didnt want to walk across the hotel to eat in the main area
