I visited with my sister in February 2017 and we both had a super time. The steam room wasn't working, unfortunately. And the Jacuzzi was temporarily closed on arrival but opened within 30 minutes or so - but it didn't spoil our visit. The staff were nice (our lunch was upgraded to include 2 glasses of Prosecco without asking because it was my sister's birthday - a really nice touch). Lunch was superb, the treatments excellent and we enjoyed lounging around by the pool in between massages. Very relaxing!

Treatments were fabulous but place itself is pretty run down...e.g. You have to walk through this really cold corridor from your treatments to the pool, there's no sauna but there is a steam room. I was taking a nap on the lounger but kept getting woken up but condensation drips falling from the ceiling..changing rooms don't smell great either.

Unfortunately the steam room wasn't working on the day we went. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are ok but the changing room facilities could do with being updated. The treatments I had were fantastic though and in terms of value for money it was really good.

Busy spa had to wait to be given towels shown around just wanted to get on with it! Also booked Chesford grange in Warwickshire first but when I phoned hotel to book treatment slots I was told there was no availability! So had to go to Hellidon Lakes as only other hotel with availability this took ages and several phone calls to sort out I was told some sort of recompensation would be offered but in the end got offered nothing! Hellidon lakes was much further for us to get to

Reasonable value. Food average. Good golf. Ensure you get a room with a view of the lake. The pool average

We had a really lovely day, the treatment we had was perfect, the facilities are very nice, and our afternoon tea was amazing , so much and so well presented. This was a day to cheer up a special friend and it was perfect

It was a lovely day however we were surprised to find Mum and babies in the pool which made it very noisy and not the quite relaxing time we expected. The food was also limited with no choice, idea if you like lots of salad but we are not that much of a fan.

I booked a spa day for me and my mum which was 2 treatments and use of the facilities for £25 - The treatments and the staff were very good, I can't complain but the facilties particularly the pool area leaves a lot to be desired.

The pool area is very small, has very little to offer and the chlorine levels were definintely too high, it was impossible to sit in there and relax as our eyes were stinging too much.

The hotel itself is very nice and the bar staff were very professional, the food is also very good and good value for money.

This was a lovely day and good value for money but if I'd paid more than the £25 I think I would have been quite disappointed.

We went for a spa day to relax and forget about our everyday life and it certainly did that. We would highly recommend this venue and would come again. We hope others enjoy the spa day as much as us.

Beautiful setting. Helpful and attentive staff - the therapist was extremely good and the Spa area pleasant, though a bit claustrophobic. Pool OK, though little space around it. Pleasant to sit overlooking the gardens & golf course. The changing rooms were dire - much in need of refurbishment with lockers that ate £1s and ropey locks. Refurbishment due, we are told, and would certainly go back when this is done.

The hotel was nice and we received a drinks voucher from the spa reception which a nice start to the day. Lunch was nice and relaxing in the main restaurant. A small child was very excitable in the pool when we entered the spa but did not stay long so we chilled for a while awaiting the queue for the Jacuzzi. Asked spa reception for some hot drinks but were told we had to walk to the main hotel for these which was disappointing. The treatment was nice but had to ask for the music to be turned up as could hear the receptionist's gossiping loudly!
