We booked a spa day for 2 through Treatwell which included 1 hour treatment each. This also included robes, towels, slippers and a 2 course lunch.

The staff were lovely and the treatments themselves were very good. Unfortunately the facilities are tired and outdated. What this spa really needs is an extension and total refubishment.

The swimming pool is an unusual shape and quite small with no way of swimming laps. There were 8 people in the pool and it looked crowded. There is also grime all round the edges which could well be people not showering before entering but really needs to be sorted. The pool shower is nice but the ceiling is flaked off and needs repainting. The steam room is the smallest I have ever seen - suitable for someones home but not a hotel and only gets very hot on one side. The sauna was nice but again small. The experience showers were not working properly and one was freezing and would not turn off. There is NO jacuzzi - this would be an immediate improvement. The treatment rooms are lovely but again small. There are a few loungers around the pool but the floor around them gets soaked as they are so close to the pool. There is an upstairs area with 2 heated loungers which is nice.

The ladies changing rooms were fairly good sized with several changing rooms, lockers, 2 showers and 1 toilet. I would suggest another toilet is needed and the one that is there is fairly grubby particularly the floor and round the base of the door. The reception area is nice with tables to sit but there is a cordened off area where the manicures and pedicures are done. I personally think there should be a room away from the food for this. And there is a coffee machine where you have to pay £1 to get a coffee unless you are a member! I've never had to pay for coffees at a spa before. We went to the bar to get lattes. The lunch that was included was lovely and the restaurant staff were fantastic - particularly Tracy - although there was no one that knew how to make a chai tea available.

I have been to spas at other Qhotels and they have much better facilities. I would not come back here unless the spa was extended, a hot tub added and a deep clean carried out. There are much better other day spas out there for the same money.

Had a wonderful time for my mum's birthday, the treatment was lovely and my therapist was fantastic. The only downside is that there's not much else to do, the spa area is small with a steam room, sauna and a small pool, with some beds to relax in that look more comfy than they are. I'd definitely go again but I would always have a treatment rather than just use the facilities. Lunch was lovely too. All in all was a great experience.

Very good value for money. The pool is a bit small and the spa could do with an upgrade as it looks dated but it was clean. I would recommend and come back.

What took me by surprise was the fact I had to pay again at the venue was very upset and embarrassed as I had invited a friend and thought it had all been payed for by my partner and at the venue I was told the card details that were originally givern were only to secure booking and I had to pay again when my partner checked his bank payment had already been made so ended up paying twice 😟😬☹️

Nice hotel, room fine. Food very good but service was very slow. We ordered a cream tea and waited over 45 minutes, they did refund the cost when it arrived so late that we couldn't finish it as our treatment was due to begin. Dinner took almost 2 hours for a 2 course option due to the slowness of staff.

The treatment in the spa was lovely, the spa area doesn't have a jacuzzi and the steam room and sauna are very small (max 4 people) and the pool is a very odd size and shape so you couldn't really swim it's a bobbing about and chatting pool.

The staff were amazing but the spa facilities were poor and did not reflect expectations of a 4 star hotel

Nice hotel, the treatments were nice. I had the express facial and neck, back shoulder and head massage. The spa was good but both the steam and sauna rooms were small. Luckily as we were leaving it began to get busy. Overall a nice place just lacking a Jacuzzi and a bit of space.

Had an anniversary night away with the wife. She is a wheelchair user, spa facilities were not very accessible, but with help overcame obstacles. Limited availability for treatments, so couldn't have any, but the food, rooms, facilities and especially staff were excellent, which more than made up for it.

This hotel had good customer service and good quality food. The spa treatments were very relaxing and our room was fully equipped and clean. We will definitely return maybe during the week as there was a lot of weddings on over the weekend which was noisy at night
