I qualified in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy - BTEC Level 5 - which is the highest degree in Sports Massage in the UK. Being a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM), I can guarantee you are in good hands. Both these organisations require high standards of practice and regular upgrading training.
My treatments are more than just massage. As I want you to get the full benefit of a session, I adopt a multi-dimension approach in my treatments. During a session I integrate deep tissue massage, myofascial release, stretching, trigger points therapy, yoga, and spinal manipulation. I also provide kinesio taping (Rocktape).
In addition to my private clientèle I treat athletes at sports events like the London Marathon, and I also do out-call treatments for workplace and private clients.
After many years in the academic field of Botany, Evolutionary Biology & Human Psychology (MSc), I decided to opt for a less theoretical and more applied profession. The world of Complementary Therapies is a fantastic fieldwork as it is constantly progressing, combining new scientific research to a hands-on practice.
I love running and I regularly do sports competitions. I have a wealth of experience in mountain hiking and I'm a great lover of the Alps where I host yoga retreats. I also do regular functional training, yoga practice and have sports massages as often as I can.
