Really interesting as this seems to be a running theme in all the reviews I have SINCE read (should have read before I bought a voucher).
I have not been able to get hold of the salon by email or on Facebook as wanted to have a paper trail..

I used the wowcher voucher
I am really disappointed with the service I got and feel like it was a rip off.

To begin with the attitude I recieved about needing to print the voucher was less than welcoming; I almost at this point cancelled the appointment, but as had left work early to come decided to go ahead.

I was then told it would be 20 pounds extra as my hair was longer than shoulder length. This was stated on the voucher (though in inches)....so fair enough though I still think a very hefty charge. I have used wowcher before for another salon and was not charged any extra for the length of my hair. Yes I should read the voucher properly but nonetheless...

I still decided to go ahead.

Though the hairdresser did comment on how bad bleach was for my hair before he bleached it....he later said "well you knew the risks" when, he had bleached and brushed my hair..some hair came out. Yes he did say it was bad for my hair, but he did not suggest I DIDNT do it and again I think his attitude was really poor!

I was also just left with my hair in the sink waiting for the colour to go on while the hairdresser had a cup of tea.......

Every other salon I have had my hair done would do this in foils like normal colour and treat me with a little more decency...

I used my own colour product
and really only had a trim!
was not even offered a drink of water or anything
Felt quite awkward about the whole ordeal
and still had to pay 20 ontop of the 29 I had already paid for the voucher...
When I came my boyfriend commented he couldn't even see any difference with the cut (because it was just a trim) and that the blue already looked faded like they hadn't done a good job.

Overall really not impressed with the extra charge AT ALL!!!

Though I have just read online reviews (a little late perhaps) I doubt this will be rectified but if it could be somehow I would appreciate it. It appears I am not the only one to have this unpleasant experience

It was a completely disaster. They did the colour three times and still looks bad. I had two different colours: red on the top and blonde on the ends. I need to go somewhere else to amend this.

After reading some previous reviews i was a bit skeptical, but I am happy to say i was more than pleasantly surprised. Firstly, I have had my share of hassles with hairdressers. My hair is not super thin and straight but it is not super thick like that of my African friends so it is always hard trying to find someone who knows how to work with my hair. Secondly, I was late, and they were more than accommodating! Jack, was amazing, he knew exactly what to do with my hair, gave me a few tips and didn't judge me on the fact that i hadn't been to a hairdressers in a year. I left the salon feeling like i just stepped out of a photo shoot, the cut is fantastic, my hair feels alive and manageable again and now I'm more determined than ever to keep it this way.....absolutely satisfied.

Excellent. They work really hard to make sure all needs are met. I had a consultation as to what I wanted done to my hair. Then the Stylist helped me improve on what I wanted, which was really helpful as there was a lot of things I needed help on to
improve the over all look that I wanted to achieve. The Stylist was interest and hardworking in making me look my best.

I was a little unsure about attending my appointment after reading some poor reviews.
However I was pleasantly surprised. good service had highlights blow dry and a cut all great.
Lots of other customers looked good after their appointment too.

I had the same experience. Buy a Groupon voucher for about £40, where they state there's a £10 surcharge for hair longer than shoulder length, but then be told it will be £30 extra. They were also very rude about it. I cancelled. What a waste of time.

I bought a voucher for cut color and blow dry but they told me its going to be an extra £30 so I decided to get just a hair cut. I used to have so many split ends but after months of me taking care of my hair and trimming it often I have smooth healthy hair.. until I came to this salon. The oldest man that was doing my hair started shouting at one of the workers and embarrassing him which was very unproffesional. I guess that put him in a bad mood so he decided to take it out on my hair. My hair was still wet and he started tugging on it and blow drying it. I'd advise you not to go there because the hair cut was nice at first until my hair dryer out and I brushed it and realised that I had soooo many split ends. All that hard work for nothing. Save yourself thetrohble and don't go there.

Wow - this is my best experience at a hairdressers for several years - made really welcome, very clean and tidy salon, appointment exactly on time, thorough consultation, first class highlights, hair cut and blow dry all by Dazio - incredibly polite, focused and interesting - also all male stylists, busy and great atmosphere - really, really pleased with my hair - wow!! (also a glance at other customers - their hair styling also tip top) - if there's an offer for this salon, snap it up!!!

I had a voucher booked for Shellac Manicure & Pedicure via another voucher website. I called two week sin advance to make my appointment. This was to be the day before my wedding day. The day arrived, and i called at 2pm to confirm my appointment which was for 5:30. The lady on the phone said yes thats all fine.
I arrived at the salon, and a really rude lady came to tell me i didn't have an appointment and that she had a client so she couldn't deal with me. I was gobsmacked and started to explain that someone had confirmed that afternoon and i even showed the call i made on my phone. She was absolutely dismissive and didnt want to hear a word i was saying. I continued to speak and she literally TURNED HER BACK AND WALKED AWAY FROM ME!!!!

Well, that is the worst thing she could have done. I erupted into a fit of anger and created a scene (very unlike me) . She certainly got a full mouthful from me and so did the owner of the salon - Adima, who defended his rude staff and had very little to consolidate for the whole situation.

I am now getting a refund for my voucher - but wow - awful experience and disgusting staff.

Went there and spend nearly 5 hours instead of as the hairdresser had no clue what he was doing. Before getting the hair coloured I consulted the salon 3 times to make sure that no red/orange comes on my hair....I ended up having orange root and wait ages for hairdresser to correct it and totally damage my hair because he was using some other bleach or colours to correct the colour or whatever!!! First and last visit!

I made an appointment 2 months in advance to get eyelash extensions on my birthday here- clearly as it was my birthday I was not going to get the date wrong when making the appointment. I phoned about 2 weeks before my appointment to ensure that I had the right date and time- the same gentleman who booked me in confirmed that I did. I made the appointment for 3pm and showed up on time to be told by the gentleman I spoke to on the phone that my appointment was actually for 3:30pm. They said I could sit and wait and another client sitting next to me even told me that she had made her appointment for half an hour earlier than they were saying it was on her arrival- very unprofessional, a business should be honest with its clients over matters such as running late, I would not be unhappy had they been as I understand that salon schedules can be tight. I was then told by the same gentleman after 10 minutes of waiting that I had no appointment, that there was no way that they could fit me in and that I had made the appointment for another day. I did not believe this and asked what day I had made the appointment for- surprisingly they could not find this in their appointment book. The gentleman then left and went and sat at the back of the shop which I found very rude as my problem had not been dealt with. I then asked a lady employee (who was actually very pleasant) if I could have a look in the appointment book and she agreed- my name was written in at 3pm on that current day- according to the appointment book I should have been having my eyelashes done at that moment. The lady called the gentleman back to the desk where I pointed this out to him- he then really insulted my intelligence by telling me that this was someone else with my name. I would never come back again, if this company is this shady about an appointment I can't imagine what unacceptable products they might put on my eyelashes.

The receptionist was so rude and unhelpful that I cancelled my booking before even going. He was so unhelpful and rude about having longer hair, the price kept going up and up and I was told I had to wait three weeks - I think it is unexceptable customer service, and not a good plan to loose customers before they even sit down in the chair!

If you are looking for a relaxing day out, haircut and treatment, forget about it. It is a small salon, about 10 chairs. It is always busy which can be a good sign however at any single time 6-7 hairstylists and 7-10 customers are present, 7+ hair dryers are working plus all the chatter. The staff are understandably irritated and not patient. Unfortunately I was not pleased, did not have my hair cut and left. I will not be going back!
