The staff at this venue were great- very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms, good atmosphere at dinner and good food. Spa treatments were good. The pool was a bit small and shame the jacuzzi was closed. There were not enough loungers and nowhere to sit or hang your towel by the pool.

Realised on check-in that booking through lastminute/treatwell doesn't include breakfast buffet and you have to pay £5 per person extra. If thats four of you, for two breakfasts thats £40. If you book directly on the hilton st annes website it costs the same (£134pp for two night pamper break) and the breakfast buffet included.
We were upgraded to deluxe rooms which were gorgeous, big and spacious with a lovely garden view. We were greeted by a bottle of red wine on arrival to our rooms and two massive double beds in each room. My sister's room had a funny smell and we didn't realise until the second day that it was due to a leak - water was leaking from the back of the bathroom into the bedroom. My sister and friend sharing the room with her were moved into their own single rooms on reporting this to the reception, however.
Breakfast is actually pretty decent- loads of options including veggie sausages! eggs are cooked to perfection (runny yolk but no slimey bits). Dinner was so-so. Very limited selection and unappealing vegetarian options (spinach curry tasted like it was tinned) but the desserts were to die for.
Treatments- we had a schmoo body scrub each and as it was a hen weekend we treated the bride to be to a full body massage and a manicure too. She enjoyed the massage, and her manicure was done very poorly. However on showing the spa reception the shoddy paint job they booked her in for another appointment the following morning. The body scrubs leave your skin feeling nice however it wasn't a full body scrub. Back, legs and arms only- a bit misleading to be titled a full body scrub when it wasn't.
The sauna is tiny, and very chlaustrophobic- any more than two people inside becomes very awkward and uncomfortable. The steam room is a little better and can seat four people comfortably. The whirlpool is nice and spacious and can fit a few people in. The pool is lovely and heated.
The bar and restaurant have the same problem- visual presentation of food and drinks is brilliant however they seem severely understaffed- I say this because for four drinks we waited over 30minutes, and the fifth drink they forgot about completely until I had to go to the bar to remind someone- and it took a very long wait to get anyone's attention as the one individual behind the bar refused to acknowledge me. Waiting staff are brilliant and happy to go the extra mile. The restaurant took absolutely forever to bring our bill (please note drinks are not included in your two course dinner- so be prepared for this!) and we had to once again try to get staff's attention.
Despite the little things (damp room and lack of staff's attention) we had a good time and will probably return - on ensuring breakfast is included and doing a full check on both rooms on arrival of course.

Excellent value for money.
staff lovely, food good.
Massages good.
Screaming kids in the pool was a let down though.

The hotel was nice but spa facilities (I.e. Sauna steam room and swimming pool require urgent refurbishment)

Private massage room would be better. Not fully relaxed even with my partner in the next bay. Therapist was very nice but did not take account of the pre treatment form i completed

First the front desk staff didn't explain what was included in my package. They gave me a letter with wrong information. My room wasn't cleaned properly because there was dribble of wee on the toilet seat. There's was no robe or slippers provided in the room to start. The ladies in the spa wasn't helpful and we're like amateurs. So it wasn't a great experience as anticipated. After complaining which I shouldn't have to things wasn't too bad after that.

Great value for money, optional extras when there including afternoon tea and breakfast which was cheap and good food. Room was spacious and modern with friendly staff - only thing is location as its quite out of the way and not too central to anything. Overall good experience.

Fantastic value deal, but a few minor issues led to my rating the stay as 3 instead of 5 stars.

Firstly, the positives:
The reception staff are superb, extremely helpful and could not be more welcoming.
The room was spacious and immaculate, the bathroom modern and spotless, and the little extras (treats and water) were a lovely touch!
The Omnia restaurant is beautiful, the ambience is excellent, service was incredible and the food 5-star.
The gym equipment is technogym with built in TV/connections, and a reasonable size... no waiting for equipment!

Now the not so great points:
Our spa treatment (included in the price) was followed with a sales pitch to get us to buy their products - a brand I'd never heard of and very expensive for what it offered. I felt very uncomfortable with this and it ruined what had been a nice relaxing treatment. Big no.
The spa is in need of updating (advertising in the spa area made reference to a new refurbishment soon), but Saturday's are VERY busy with numerous customers and treatments, local families using the facilities, lots of children. Avoid if you want a relaxing couples weekend (as was advertised).
In the afternoon, I returned from my spa treatment and entered my room when the cleaner was finishing off (wonderful lady!), but I hadn't realised my key card didn't work - apparently the card demagnetises if too close to a mobile (!!). The cleaning manager arrived and BARKED at me demanding to know who I was - not a polite "excuse me madam, your key card isn't working, for security may I take your name?". Instead she made me feel like an intruder, which was extremely unpleasant and utterly rude. I gave her my full name and then she called reception, realised I was the occupant and gave a half hearted apology, which I accepted. Very VERY poor attitude.
On the Sunday morning, the restaurant area was packed and we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated; they had clearly overbooked and/or not put enough staff on, as tables were empty and awaiting cleaning but we still had to wait. The manager had a list of room numbers to seat people according to arrival, but did not once help his staff to clean tables or organise guests; he just stood around barking at his clearly exhausted staff doing their best to attend to customers, buffet and tables. Not only that, but when told we were had to wait, I was not offered a refreshment during the wait or invited to help myself, I had to ask for one; then I had to queue at the machine whilst it was replenished (only one machine working). Really poor organisation and lead customer service (though the waitresses were fantastic).

Very sad that what could have been an excellent stay was let down badly by certain staff.

I would recommend the restaurant and perhaps a Friday night stay, but would avoid the extras and watch out for the cleaning manager and restaurant manager,

Won't be staying again, sorry. I've had better service in Hampton Hiltons on business at less than half the price.
