As soon as I sat down I had the man next to me's cut hair blown onto me by the hairdryer the hairdresser next door was using as she had finished his cut. I hadn't even had the protective cape put on so I now had stranger's hair on my clothes/skin. Not a great start.
My hairdresser was friendly, but never really asked exactly what I wanted in regards to the colour, she just cracked on. When I told her that I was there for a cut and highlights the only question I was asked was 'You have highlights.... blonde?'. She then liberally started applying the non-specific 'blonde' and as a result, I had waaaaay too much bleach applied to my hair. It doesn't look terrible, but it's definitely not what I had in mind when I walked in there.
The cut was ok, but I've had difficulty styling it since my appointment.
The cost was very low, which I think was reflected in the overall experience. You always get what you pay for.
Overall, I can definitely see it's a busy salon, so obviously there are many people happy with the services here! I just think I've had a bad experience. I don't think I'll go back.

Emile was very accommodating and very nice. Left the salon with job half done, so have mixed feelings about it.
