The facial was a really pleasant experience. At the start, the consultation was thorough where I could explain my needs. Then my skin my cleaned, scrubbed, massaged and masks applied. I left feeling rejuvenated and rested. My skin felt clean and looked glowing. I enjoyed the results.
Fantastic facial
Very good results after the peeling and cleansing I had done, felt a glow and radiance to my face. Good value for the money 👍
Cara s massage and skincare advice after facial treatment was faultless I left feeling reenergised and light and the massage was magic. Definitely a return! Clean & professional
The main therapist, Cara, definitely knows her way around the neck and shoulders, but the other therapist, Maya, was unable to provide the desired pressure or muscular isolation, even after asking for firm pressure. During the session, I could hear Cara signalling to Maya what to do next, and it felt disorganized. There was excessive use of a vibrating massager machine, which, though not knowing the exact make, felt just like the ones you can buy for home-use on the high street. When it was offered for the knots in my shoulders, I said OK (because I thought it would be an EStim machine like at the physiotherapist), but I did not realize what it was or how much they were going to use it. After asking at the beginning for particular attention to my legs/hamstrings, and then having to ask them to move on to that requested part of the body after much time spent on my back, the lower body massage felt terrible. They drove their elbows forcefully into the backs of my legs, which caused bruising. A week later, I still have a deep muscle bruise on one calf. I have had deep-tissue massages for decades and have never experienced this level of injury. On the table, I had to ask for a towel roll under my ankles when laying on my stomach. When I rolled to my back, it was left there, propping up my ankles and, before I could move the towel to under my knees to support them instead, they began to press down on my legs, coming dangerously close to hyper-extending my knees. I had to bend my knees up and place my feet flat on the table to stop them. As Maya was trying to massage my feet, I asked for firmer pressure/manipulation of my feet, but she continued to apply light pressure only, less pressure even than a pedicurist applying moisturizer. I never got to relax and spent the whole session just wanting to leave early. I wish I had.
