Fantastic hotel, stayed a few times as part of their spa experience in an executive room. Rooms are lovely and clean and spacious, beds are a little firm! Dinner was the best I've had the first time but menu not quite so good the second but still the food itself very nice and the staff are very very helpful and polite. The spa is lovely and clean. Pool could be a little warmer and no Jacuzzi which is a shame. Tip top hotel and would definitely go back time and time again.
We treated ourselves to a spa day here for my husbands birthday. When we arrived, the gentleman on the spa reception was extremely friendly and wished my husband a happy birthday. The spa facilities were modern and attractive and it was really quiet which made a nice change to other spas! There is no jacuzzi however, which we would have liked. The steam room was nice and twinkly though. We were also able to order food to have by the pool which we organised to arrive after our treatment. The indian head massage that I had was lovely and relaxing. It included a neck and facial massage too which was a bonus. We would recommend this to anyone for a day or half a day as a relaxing break.

The salt scrub which was included in the deal was thoroughly enjoyable and left my husband silky smooth! We would recommend this to anyone for a day or half a day as a relaxing break.
Pool area is quite basic but treatments were lovely and the hotel restaurant has nice, reasonably priced food. fantastic staff and excellent value. If they want me to go again a jacuzzi would be nice....
From the moment I booked the spa day I received excellent service from the team at the Esprit Spa. Matt contacted me to arrange treatment times and also sent me details of afternoon tea packages in the Holiday Inn. On the day we received a warm, friendly welcome. The detox salt scrub was amazingly relaxing. The facilities were spotless and could only be improved by the addition of a jacuzzi.
When we were ready for afternoon tea we were taken through to the hotel bar where our reserved table was ready. We then rèceived more of the same friendly excellent service in the bar, The champagne afternoon tea was delicious but when we couldnt finish it all it was packed for us to takeaway with no problem. Again the bar was spotlessly clean and tables were cleared and cushiins plumped as guests left them.
All in all a truly relaxing experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the spa and hotel.
